ok!!
I personally think that the beginning is one of the best parts. I love the Valar the most ( You probably guessed with the site name and all!). It is also extremely detailed. I enjoyed Tolkiens ideas about the creation of ...well everything! I believe he drew off the theory about everything being made by a music. It is also written in a very biblical style, which i find fascinating. If the world was destroyed and the only thing that survived was the Sil, and it was found by an alien race.....thay would, whithout a doubt, believe it!!! ;D

I agree. I have always thought Tolkien wrote like the Bible, thats why I love his writing so much, it is very flowing, and beautiful.
And the creation was so cool. With the music and everything...

Great, I'm glad you agree! I think that is my fave part! I love the details of how the World was made, and all the part about it that are mentioned in other chapters like the rising of the sun and moon.

I know you guys are going to think i'm morbid or something, but my favorite part was the chapter on Turin Turambor. It was so sad I practically crying by the time I reached the end! I like the beginning too though!
