Okay, this can't really be classified as a Fanfiction, a few days ago I was about to post a reply to an Introduction thread, and I was listening to 'Evenstar', and as I play violin seriously, I always get 'insprired' by music, so I randomly started writing. Hope you like this, I have not revised it, or changed anything from the original, and when I wrote the original, I wasn't thinking, only typing...Hope you like it. I only posted it here because Eruant liked it alot....
Arwen stood watching the figures as they rode away, carrying the still figure. "My love..." She whispered, "Why did you leave?" She bowed her head, and tears seeped through her closed lashes. She drew a sigh, ragged with grief. "Why did you leave me?" She breathed. She turned, and walked away, slipping through the half open gates to a garden. It was large, and the gate that admitted her was overgrown with Simblewyne. There was a path that led down the middle, and she followed it to a small clearing, and sat on the cold stone bench. The black veil against her face fluttered with each breath that she made. She leaned over to pick a small flower, the color was a dusky orange, and the flower was small, and sparkled with the fresh dew. A hot tear escaped her face to reside with the dew, and she, unheeding, dropped the flower to the ground. Its orange was bright against the dark grass, and she pulled her eyes away from the sight.
She sat staring out at the garden, though her eyes did not see anything.
She reached up to touch her heart, for she felt that something was aching with a terrible pang. She then drew her hands away, for she knew that the ache would never be lessened. Then in a sudden burst of grief, she knelt beside the chair, pleading in a broken voice. "Oh, Ada, oh, my Ada, you were right! I should not have to bear this pain, for I cannot. We were so happy, so happy...Oh, my love, come back, Oh come back!"
She then raised her head, and looked at the pale sky. There was a new realization on her face. ?"He will never come back" She said softly. "Never." She drww a few deep breaths, then stood up. "If, my love, you cannot come back" She said. "I will live your life for you. I love you so much, you can't be really dead. For you are alive in my heart. In my soul. In our children." And she cast off her veil, and stood, her figure dark against the pale sunlight that crept into the garden. And she smiled.
The procession wound its way slowly along the wide path. The lady Arwen was at the front, her blue cloak catching the wind. A veil covered her face. Her ears still rang with the sound of her childrens farewells. A tear slid down her pale cheek.
"Why do you have to go, Mother?" 7 year old Edarion clasped her in his arms. He was crying. Arwens tears mingled with her sons as there cheeks touched. She drew away. "My darling" She answered softly. "One day you will be King, also, one day you will rule these lands like your Father did. I must go, why, I cannot say, but if stay here..." Here voice trailed off into silence. "I love you" She whispered, tears of grief falling down her cheeks. "I love you so much" She drew a deep breth, and pulled from her breast a gem of exquisite beauty. "For you" She said, fastening it about his neck. "Wear it well."
Eldarion stood on a wall, watching his Mother ride away. His face was wet with tears. Suddenly he climbed down the wall, and ran to her. "Mother!" He cried. She stopped, turned around, and gathered him in her arms. "Oh my darling" She whispered. "I love you so, Let me go" He stood back from her, and his eyes were wet. "You really are leaving, mother?" She nodded. "I don't want you to go, stay with me, stay with my sisters." She stroked his cheek, and her eyes were torn. "I wish I could" Here face was tender, and sorrowful. "I love you" She whispered again. "Hold me" He said. She clasped her son to her, and held him close.

"My Lady" Arwen was starteled out of her thoughts. She turned to see one of her escorts looking at her. She heard nothing more. Over herself rushed again a storm of passionate grief. She shook her head. "No" She whispered. "No" The guard looked at her. "No?" He said, "Then you are not tired?" Not hearing him, she repeated "No!", and spurring her horse forward, broke into a gallop.
